What is Holistic Health?
Holistic Health addresses the whole person. A holistic practitioner integrates conventional and complementary therapies to promote optimal wellness by addressing contributing factors such as emotional trauma, mental stress and spiritual imbalance.
Our mind- Working too hard, pushing yourself too far, spreading yourself too thin, taking on too much or living in a state of unhappiness is incredibly stressful. Mental stress makes life difficult, and the harder things are, the more stress they cause. As a result, your mind will suffer a lack of good judgment.
Our soul/spirit- It is the neglect of and the eventual loss of our spiritual lives- the part of us that hopes, loves, dreams, plans, and reaches for something greater and better in humanity and in life. Whether we are religious or not, we all have a spiritual beliefs. The part of you that cannot be measured, calculated- it is the you that makes you, you.
Our body- works (the physically)- Bad health habits, drinking too much, eating junk food put physiological stress on your body.
